The rules of using Walkaround.
Effective date: 2026-06-09
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Walkaround (“Walkaround,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an aviation research service operated by Luis Camara, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. By creating an account, generating a report, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read the Disclaimer carefully. Walkaround reports are research aids — they are not pre-purchase inspections, mechanical evaluations, appraisals, or any form of professional advice.
By accessing or using Walkaround you confirm that (a) you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction; (b) you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; (c) you accept and will comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer; and (d) if you are using the Service on behalf of a business or other entity, you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Walkaround turns an aircraft registration (tail number) into a written intelligence report that synthesizes information from public records and type-specific knowledge. Source materials currently include, without limitation, the FAA Aircraft Inquiry, Transport Canada CCARCS, NTSB and TSB Canada accident databases, Airworthiness Directive (AD) publications, and publicly available aircraft listings. Reports are generated using large language models in combination with curated reference knowledge.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes affecting paid customers when practical.
You may use Walkaround anonymously for a limited number of trial reports. Most features require a free account. You agree to: (a) provide accurate and current information when you register; (b) maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access; (c) notify us promptly at support@walkaround.report of any suspected unauthorized use of your account; and (d) refrain from creating an account for anyone other than yourself.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used to violate these Terms or to abuse the Service.
You agree not to:
Walkaround, including its software, design, text, prose templates, curated reference knowledge, branding, and the format and structure of reports, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Service and to use the reports you generate for your personal or internal business purposes in connection with evaluating an aircraft purchase. All other rights are reserved.
Underlying public records (FAA / Transport Canada registry data, NTSB / TSB reports, Federal Register AD publications, and similar government data) are not owned by us; we present a synthesis of them. Third-party listing content (where referenced) remains the property of the original publisher.
Any feedback you submit about the Service may be used by us without obligation or restriction.
Pricing for one-time reports and subscriptions is displayed on our pricing page. All prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated and are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe; by paying, you agree to Stripe’s terms in addition to ours.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate, unless cancelled before the renewal date through the Stripe Customer Portal or by emailing support@walkaround.report. Included reports in a subscription that go unused at the end of a billing period do not roll over. Overage reports are charged at the per-report rate stated on the pricing page and billed in arrears.
See our Refund Policy for refund eligibility and process.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL REPORTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR COMPLETENESS.
WALKAROUND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE INFORMATION IN ANY REPORT IS ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR COMPLETE; THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE; OR THAT REPORT GENERATION WILL SUCCEED FOR ANY PARTICULAR REGISTRATION. SEE THE Disclaimer FOR THE FULL TREATMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WALKAROUND OR ITS OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE OR ANY REPORT — INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES ARISING FROM A PURCHASE DECISION MADE IN RELIANCE ON A REPORT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES; THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED IN YOUR JURISDICTION.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Walkaround and its operator from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service or any report; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right; or (d) any purchase decision you make in connection with information surfaced in a report.
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing support@walkaround.report. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would expose us to material legal or operational risk.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual-property terms, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute-resolution provisions) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “effective date” at the top of the document reflects the current version. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email or in-product notice at least seven days before the change takes effect, and we will require renewed acceptance before continued use of paid features.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that Province, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@walkaround.report and to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of at least 30 days.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Refund Policy, and any other policy referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is held to be unenforceable, it will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce a right or provision will not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a corporate transaction.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@walkaround.report.
